I believe it is important to learn how to learn and not just learn facts. I think children should be able to learn at their own pace and in their own time, which is why I chose to homeschool my children. I loved being able to allow my daughters to pursue their interests and learn through living books and life experiences.

I have graduated two daughters after homeschooling them from k-12th grade. Family is very important to me, and I cherish the opportunity we had to spend each day learning together. I am thankful for being blessed with an amazingly supportive husband who lovingly encouraged me throughout my family's homeschool journey.

I am a graduate of Clemson University, and I have a Bachelor's in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Middle School Math. I also have a Christian Ministry Certificate from CLI and am the author of Rewbi Bible Studies. Prior to becoming a mom, I taught middle school math in the Upstate of SC. I have worked in several learning centers and was also an SAT test facilitator.

My goal as director of TSCHAA is to provide outstanding service and support to all members throughout their homeschool journey. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way.
